Arrive in Cairns and catch your airport transfers to the hotel for check in. Your quality 3-star hotel with standard queen, twin or triple, is at a centrally located position for your convenience. If you arrive on an early flight (prior to 11am), the hotel tour desk can arrange half-day tour options for you (at extra cost). Your first full day in North Queensland will be spent on beautiful Green Island, on the Great Barrier Reef. This tour includes return coach transfers, buffet lunch and a choice of snorkel gear or glass bottom boat tour. The next day is all about the rainforest and its amazing flora and fauna, on an exclusive full day tour that includes the Daintree Rainforest, Cape Tribulation and Mossman Gorge. There’s 3 night’s accommodation included in this package and return airport transfers. On the last day, it’s check-out time and return to the airport for your journey home.

Welcome to Cairns and Tropical North Queensland. An amazing destination on the doorstep of the Great Barrier Reef and ancient World Heritage Rainforest. You’ll be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. Please note check-in is after 2pm. If you arrive earlier, you’re free to leave your bags and spend some time exploring Cairns city either on your own or join a guided tour (at your own expense). Green Island is the only Great Barrier Reef island to have rainforest. It’s been popular with visitors for decades and offers golden beaches, fringing reefs and island boardwalks. You’ll enjoy a relaxing full day tour, where you can choose to do as much, or little, as you like. Embrace the option of snorkeling or swimming in the crystal-clear island waters, straight from the beach, or float across the reef looking through large viewing windows on the glass bottom boat tour (a choice of snorkel gear or glass bottom boat tour.) Your day includes a delicious freshly prepared buffet lunch, served in air-conditioned comfort. Green Island is a natural paradise, surrounded by white sandy beaches and the beautiful coral gardens of the Great Barrier Reef.

Travel in a small group to the World Heritage listed Daintree Rainforest, on this premium, full day tour. This amazing place is home to the oldest continuously living tropical rainforest in the world, dating over 135 million years old. To get there, we take the gorgeous Great Barrier Reef Drive with views over the Coral Sea. We visit Mossman Gorge, where we have morning tea, and you get the chance to refresh in the cool waters with a swim (optional – pending conditions) and take a walk through the forest. Enjoy a restaurant lunch, followed by a 1-hour Daintree River Cruise. Then it’s into the Daintree Rainforest, with plenty of stops to enjoy the views and learn more about this environment on a guided botanical walk. This tour includes Cape Tribulation Beach, where the rainforest meets the reef and a final stop at a local Daintree Ice-Cream Company where you taste tropical fruit ice-creams (at own expense).
