One tour package visits The Daintree and Cape Tribulation, starting at $220. It’s a full day tour beginning in Daintree Rainforest, then to the Cape where the ‘rainforest meets reef’ and continues to the river. You have a chance to dine at a restaurant with a choice of meals, and if you’re interested, a quick dive! This tour is not suited for children under the age of four. Private Charters for The Daintree & Cape Tribulation are available and can be adjusted to your specific needs. Departure times are 7 am from Cairns, 7:45 am from the Northern Beaches, 8:45 from Port Douglas, and returning around 6:30 pm.
As you can see this is a full day tour with many highlights. Some things you may want to bring are a camera, comfortable clothing and footwear (lots of walking), water bottle, sunscreen, insect repellent, raincoat or umbrella, money for ice cream, and swimwear (subject to the level of the river).
