Day 1 |
After a 7:30am departure from Brisbane, we travel past the Glass House Mountains and on to the beautiful Sunshine Coast region arriving at one of Australia's best seaside playgrounds, Noosa Heads.
Crossing the Noosa River by ferry, we join the wide sands of Cooloola Beach, then travel many kilometres of beach driving to the wreck of the "Cherry Venture" (a victim of 40 foot wave swells in the Winter of 1973).
We venture over Double Island Point to Coloured Sands, a wonderful beach and cliff area, decorated by ochreous mineral coloured sands (cliffs up to 200 meters high and hues of over 70 iron oxide and nature derived colours) to the township of Rainbow Beach. Next we travel along the beach to Inskip Point joining the barge to cross to Fraser Island World Heritage Area.

Day 2 |
Today we start our exploration of Fraser Island by heading inland to Central Station, an area surrounded by an abundance of rainforest, wildlife and beautiful fraser freshwater streams. Next we move on to Lake McKenzie where we have time for a relaxing swim by brilliant white sands before moving on to a picnic area for lunch and views of Lake Wabby and its Sand Hills.
After lunch its time to travel fraser's famous 75 mile beach to visit the famous Maheno Wreck, Eli Creek, Champagne Pools, The Pinnacles and time permitting Waddy Point...all are of great historical, unique and picturesque interest. We will return to our resort late afternoon after a truly memorable day.

Day 3 |
We take a morning walk to unique Lake Wabby, known as both a window lake and a barrage lake. Window lakes form when the ground level falls below the water table. Barrage lakes form when a sand blow blocks the waters of a natural spring. Lake Wabby is being overtaken 1 metre per year by an enormous sand-dune and has about a 100 years of life before it will be completely covered by sand.
Lunch will be enjoyed as a beach picnic as we head south toward Inskip Point via Dilli Village. Departing the island, the tour comes to a conclusion when we reach Brisbane, where we will drop off passengers at their inner city hotel or airport connection.
